Este es un cuadro que no tenia pensado hacer a corto plazo pero me crucé con esta foto y me encanto la combinación de colores. Posiblemente buscando hacer algo diferente a los motivos urbanos que he estado pintando últimamente.
Realicé pocos cambios respecto a la foto original. Buscando equilibrio entre los tonos fríos del cielo y el mar con los tonos cálidos del barco y el faro. De la misma forma, equilibrio de lineas horizontales del oleaje con las verticales de faro. Un cuadro sin muchas complicaciones y con un resultado final que me gustó pero que quizás esperaba algo diferente.

This is a watercolor painting that I didn’t plan on making in the short term, but I came across this photo and loved the color combination. I was possibly looking to do something different from the urban motifs that I’ve been painting lately.
I made few changes from the original photo, aiming to balance the cool tones of the sky and sea with the warm tones of the boat and lighthouse. Likewise, I balanced the horizontal lines of the waves with the vertical lines of the lighthouse. It’s a painting without many complications and with a final result that I liked, although maybe I was expecting something different.
